Experience and engage with Nigerian culture through music, song, and drumming! Discover the traditional rhythms of afrobeat, worror and highlife music!

Learn from Nigerian Afrobeat Master – Olugbade Okunade and drummer – Tony Priest from Alárìíyá, as they teach you the traditional songs and drumming patterns of Nigeria. Sing the songs, play the percussion and enjoy the vibes!

Alárìíyá is best known for their high energy party vibes, delivering a sweet blend of afro-jazz funk rhythms – previously described by TheMusic.com.au as “steaming hot…to have you elevated to the height of happiness”.

Alárìíyá was founded in 2014 by Nigerian trumpeter and composer, Olugbade Okunade, who began his career in the internationally acclaimed, Egypt 80. Alárìíyá delivers original compositions in English and Yorùbá, captivating audiences and creating positive vibes at every show.
