Multicultural Arts Victoria invites culturally diverse and Aboriginal artists and cultural leaders in the Goulburn Valley to participate in a series of FREE cultural leadership workshops taking place on Tuesdays from May 29 – July 10.
The workshops will provide unique opportunities to share ideas and develop skills in cultural leadership, creative enterprise and cultural management. They will also create spaces for networking with established artists and leaders, local government, business, media and cultural sectors, and discussing common issues with peers and experts.
#2 Creative, Cultural and Social Enterprise
Hear from local entrepeneurs from culturally diverse and Aboriginal communities and learn about what’s involved in setting up a business that centres around arts or cultural product. How did they do it, where did they go for help, what kind of capital did they need, how did they find their market – and where do you start?
Presenters: Betul Tuna (Hijack’d), Felicia Dean (The Connection), Troy Firebrace (visual artist)
Date: Tues 12 June 2018 Time: 5.30pm – 8.30pm
