Multicultural Arts Victoria invites you to the 2018 EMERGE CULTURAL LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP PROGRAM proudly supported by Gandel Philanthropy.

The free workshops are for new & emerging artists from diverse communities, offering skills development and networking opportunities to help get your community cultural and creative projects and ideas out there.

In 2018, our workshops include hands-on assistance with a series of follow-up support sessions, to help put into action the learnings from the workshops.

The second Workshop Series for 2018 is:

Effective Grant Writing – Core Session

To provide practical, useful and transferable information about how to approach the grant making process. It covers:

  • Writing the 50 word grab
  • Developing a budget for a funding application
  • Tackling the evaluation and sustainability questions.

Support Sessions offer the opportunity to get feedback and advice on your grant as you write it; there are 4 Support Sessions, you can come to as many as you like, however attendance at the Core Session is required if you want to come to the Support Sessions.
