Ignite is a new music mentoring and songwriting program MAV has been facilitating in Shepparton with St. Paul’s African House. With funding from Creative Victoria and Australia Council for the Arts, we have been running weekly sessions with an average of 15 young African people coming along to collaborate with Melbourne based African Australian artists/ producers Momo, Francois and DJ BillWIll.

The young people want to share what they’ve done so far and are teaming up with some of other local young MCs and singers from Indigenous and Pacific Islander communities.

Come and support upcoming young Shepparton artists creating some of the freshest sounds from hip hop and RnB, to soul and gospel.

FEATURING PRO E, DORCAS, ELIE, VINCE THE KID, CLAUDIA, ALISHA, CHERYL SIMAIKA, BRICKY B & DJ BILLWILL.

There will also be an open mic, dance floor action, surprises, and prizes, and bring some coins for SIFA’S BBQ FUNDRAISER FOR BURUNDI.
