Local community groups and individuals will showcase their cultural backgrounds with story, song and dance at the Intercultural Night on 27 June at the Lalor Library.

Building on the warm and celebratory event in last year’s festival, the Intercultural Night will see performers and speakers from Macedonia, Greece, Vietnam, India, China, and the Middle East sharing their migration journey and settlement in Australia.

Whittlesea is one of the fastest growing multicultural communities in Australia with residents from over 140 countries. This night will raise awareness of people’s migration struggles that they have overcome.

Come and join in the festivities!
