Emerge – Culture Empowering Community
Are you from a culturally diverse or Aboriginal background, living in Melbourne’s north, and interested in your arts and culture?
Come and join us for a free informal gathering to discuss what’s happening in the local arts and culture scene, hear from local author Abdi Aden about how to promote yourself, and share a delicious dinner at the Epping Community Services Hub.
- Meet other artists and community leaders from your neighbourhood
– Hear from practising local artists about their experiences
The Emerge Cultural Leadership program supports artists and cultural practitioners from Indigenous & emerging communities to develop projects and build skills, and provides opportunities to build networks with new and emerging communities in the outer northern suburbs.
Facilitated by Multicultural Arts Victoria, this is a great opportunity to connect with like minded people, share ideas and grow new opportunities. A partnership with Brotherhood of St Laurence Multicultural Communities Team.
RSVP essential by 12 July for catering, to Miriam: firstname.lastname@example.org . Enquiries to Miriam tel. 9188 3681.
Please advise dietary requirements.
Supported by Gandel Philanthropy, Australia Council for the Arts, Creative Victoria and Office of Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship.
