Multicultural Arts Victoria invites you to the 2018 EMERGE CULTURAL LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP PROGRAM proudly supported by Gandel Philanthropy.

The free workshops are for new & emerging artists from diverse communities, offering skills development and networking opportunities to help get your community cultural and creative projects and ideas out there.

In 2018, our workshops include hands-on assistance with a series of follow-up support sessions, to help put into action the learnings from the workshops.

The first Workshop Series for 2018 is:

Start-Up Project Planning & Design – Core Session

To provide participants with practical information about project planning and design. It covers:

  • developing project ideas and management
  • strengthening your community group’s capacity to design and deliver high quality and inclusive projects
  • understanding how to increase community participation
  • strategies to attract support for your project

Support Sessions offer the opportunity to get feedback and advice on your Project Plan as you develop it; there are 3 Support Sessions, you can come to as many as you like, however attendance at the Core Session is required if you want to come to the Support Sessions.

 Presenter :  Debby  Maziarz, social entrepreneur, community facilitator, theatre director, educator and fundraiser.
