Multicultural Arts Victoria is inviting visual artists of all styles to submit expressions of interest to design the Visual ID for Mapping Melbourne 2017

Now in its fifth year, Mapping Melbourne is a platform for strengthening arts networks between contemporary independent artists across the Australasian region, building connections and establishing collaborative ongoing relationships, and presenting challenging work. The annual festival features a series of exhibitions, performances, interactive explorations and international collaborations culminating across manifold venues in the heart of Melbourne. The series celebrates our unique Asian Australian identity and highlights positive global creative connections.

The 2016 series featured film screenings, contemporary dance, art and photography exhibitions, and large scale installations profiling established and emerging artists from across China, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, India, Thailand, Japan, Vietnam and Malaysia. Venues included The Art Centre, Federation Square, fortyfivedownstairs, Fracture Gallery, Old Treasury Building, Horse Bazaar, Chin Chin’s Wall of Art and Magnet Gallery.

The artwork should have individual elements that can be pulled out of the key visual and the final design would be supplied as vector files (AI or EPS)
